Snap Counsellors won an award at D&AD Impact 2016 where Rajshekar Patil travelled to New York to pick up the ‘Graphite Pencil’ for Snap Counsellors. It was also featured in the awesome Ad Age India, Campaign India, Campaign brief Asia, Economic Times’ Brand Equity and CenMag [Creative Economy News]. Catch the scoop in Afsa’s blogpost. We’re excited to announce that we’re semi-finalist in the Social Innovators category in the WIRED’s Audi USA Innovation awards. We’ll find out in November if we win at the inaugural WIRED Audi Innovation Awards ceremony.

Chayn Italia is delivering a free course in collaboration with Naples’ Federico II° University and Una Stanza Tutta Per Se’ women’s aid center: sign up to learn more about domestic violence and how to tackle it (in Italian with English translation - starting 14th November 2016). On Thursday 29th September, we hosted our first Tech Vs Abuse workshop with Snook at Newspeak House where we worked with survivors to create solutions for the problems that victims and survivors have with technology. The next phase of the TechVsAbuse project will be a workshop with frontline practitioners on 14th October.
Ammal PK is busy behind the scenes in its launch with their first workshop [Late October] in Lahore on ‘How to get Hired.’
Chayn India is currently finishing off the content for ‘Forced Marriages’ and ‘Sexual Health’ guides, all set to live soon!
Paula has been working on The Good Friend’ Handbook’ and is nearly set to go for beta testing!

Hera gave a talk on her journey with Chayn along with 4 other inspiration social entrepreneurs at a ‘Tech4Good’ event hosted by Coadec and Techhub at Google Campus London on 27th September. You can catch up with a glimpse of the event here.
