  • BIRTHDAY: On May 20, your beloved Chayn will turn four! Thank you for your continued support and love. Stay tuned for more updates and check our Facebook page and Twitter account for party pictures!

  • PRESS: The Italian version of our DIY Privacy Guide was featured on Wired in ‘Guida di autodifesa digitale contro stalking e revenge porn

  • CHAYN ITALIA: We’re pleased to inform you that our fundraising party on April 28 was a huge success! About 70 people joined us to see ‘Principesse e Sfumature’, a play on gender stereotypes, women’s desire and more. We raised about €350, which will help us to cover the expenses for the legal registration of Chayn Italia. Stay tuned on our Facebook page for pictures!

  • PRESS: Chayn is in The Guardian! Our Kristin and Hera were featured in the Guardian on April 13 for our contribution to the Tech v. Abuse project, a collaboration between Chayn, SafeLives and Snook, and funded by Comic Relief.

  • PRESS: Our founder, Hera Hussain wrote an article for The Independent on the on Saudi Arabia’s recent adhesion to the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

  • PRESS: Our Claudia wrote an amazing article for OpenDemocracy on the depiction of domestic violence survivors in the Italian media.

  • THE SUPERNOVA PROJECT: We are currently working on building the WordPress platform which will host the content developed so far.

  • CHAYN INDIA: Last minute research for divorce laws is underway and we are now working towards simplification and how to make it even more user friendly.

  • MANIPULATION IS ABUSE: Our guide on how to deal with manipulation in any kind of relationship is ready to be launched. Read our blog on how this can help you.

  • DIY ONLINE SAFETY GUIDE: We are putting a new team together to work on a strategy to further amplify its presence and availability in all the languages it has been translated into, and are also working on building potential new partnerships.

  • GOOD FRIEND GUIDE: Our handbook for anyone looking to support a friend in an abusive relationship is being launched on Tuesday, May 23. Stay tuned!

  • #VOM: Congratulations to our volunteers of the month for April 2017 - Kristin and Noreen, whose continued dedication, enthusiasm and awesomeness inspires us all at Chayn everyday!

  • CHAYN’S GUP SHUP: We’re very excited to announce that Chayn’s podcast, Gup Shup (chit chat in Urdu) will be going live on SoundCloud soon! Stay tuned for more.

  • PRESS: Our Macarena wrote a piece on the impact of activism on the mental and physical health of women rights' defenders.

  • BLOG: After dazzling everyone at Losing Control event last month, our Dina also wrote a blog for them on tips and tricks for running a volunteer based organization like Chayn.
